materials, and major construction equipment. Is proficient in
scheduling, coordinating, and supervising project personnel

Fluor/Alcoa Casthouse Structural Steel Repair - Massena, NY
Project Manager
A $6 Million contract for structural steel replacement /
repair. Scope of work included structural, rigging and piping
work. Installed 38 new truss sections with interconnecting
steel and decked the roof. Installed 14 new ventilators, 5 new
heaters and all of the necessary natural gas piping to operate
the heaters. Managed the roofing contractor for the
installation of a new hot and cold built up roofing system.
Fluor/Alcoa Hydroelectric Upgrades - Robbinsville, NC
Project Manager
An $8.3 Million contract for site upgrades and major
modernization project. Scope of work included civil,
structural, mechanical and electrical work lasting 36 months.
Installed all of the internal and external piping systems for
units 1 thru 4. Executed phase I and II Structural/Civil
packages to support the complete demo and rebuild of the
transformer deck, Switchgear Gallery and powerhouse floor.
Removed and replaced the seals on 4 of the 19 gates on the dam
under an Alcoa Contract and will be continuing the remodel of
the remaining 15 gates under the new owners.
Alcoa- Maryville, TN 2010-2011
Project Manager
A $4 million fire damage project that destroyed much of the
truss chords and roofing system. Later that year Alcoa again
sustained heavy wind damage to the same building over the
rolling mills totaling $5 million contract. Work included
repairs and reinstallation of the 96" and 120" rolling mill.
Also, on various small projects and outages that have included
rebuilds of the baking furnaces, casting pit foundations and
equipment, installation of a new fume exhaust system for the
96" mill, work on the annealing furnaces as well as the ingot
pad and runway.
Gerdau Ameristeel - Knoxville, TN
Project Manager
Billet crane and facility equipment overhaul / maintenance
work. Mezzanine Furnace floor demo and replacement.
Keystone Cement - Bath, PA
Project Engineer
$86 million contract for cement plant modernization. Scope of
work included civil, structural, electrical & instrumentation
and mechanical, to construct new cement pyro processing line.
CCCG managed and controlled the master schedule and all work
activities as directed by Keystone Cement. Project included
Raw Mill, Five Stage Dry Process Preheater and Pre-Calciner,
Spline Drive Kiln, Clinker Cooler, Clinker Transport and
Cement Transport, Finish Mill, and Blending Silo. In
addition, CCCG was responsible for overseeing the
owner-selected civil and refractory contractors. The plant
was built to produce 3000 ST/PD.
Graymont, Inc. - Pleasant Gap, PA
Project Engineer
$5.8 Million contract for lime plant major expansion. CCCG
erected a 480' long kiln. This is the longest lime kiln
without a pre-heater that has been erected in North America
since 1975. In addition to the kiln, CCCG erected a Solios
dry scrubber and an 8 compartment baghouse that includes a
reactor, recycle lime bin and hydrated lime bin. Ancillary
systems included a burner building, a tubular stone feed
conveyor system roughly 200' long, two emergency feed
conveyors, a cooler, coal bin, coal mill and coal drag
conveyors.
The kiln is 14.5' diameter and was assembled from 19 sections,
all of which were sub arc welded. We performed pre-assembly of
"can sections" in a lay-down / staging area and transported
sections weighing roughly 180,000 lbs. each to their final
erection point.
Prior to Joining CCC Group, Ransom worked on projects that
also contributed to refining his expertise.
