Summary of accomplishments in this position: I created a PM schedule with

standard work documentation in 2007 at that time the OEE for the Keurig

operations was 66% with over 5% scrap rate. Between the scheduled effective

PM's that were audited, an internal training certification program that I

also implemented and continuous process improvements my team and I raised

this number to an 82% average on all high speed packaging lines with a 1-2%

scrap rate in FY10. My staff was so well trained by 2009 I cut 2

maintenance positions (didn't back fill when 2 people left the company)

from the budget which was a total salary savings of 90-$100,000 in FY10. I

have budgeted and built a stable and accurate inventory for our high speed

packaging lines a total of $500-750,000 in inventory managed with a MP2

database. I have supported multi site maintenance functions from PM

planning in Seattle for (3) packaging lines at Tully's Coffee to (28) high

speed packaging lines over 330,000 sq ft facility at GMCR in Knoxville, TN.

This along with implementing our internal training certification for over

20 techs at GMCR's Knoxville site is raising the bar for the multi site

maintenance group. I drive my team to continuously improve and have had

the highest educational hours within the GMCR maintenance dept for 3 years

straight, an average of 72 hours per tech, while balancing the daily

coverage to meet company and department goals. I manage my team of 13 with

very little support or direction from my Production Manager from all

aspects of budgeting, training, CPI opportunities, figuring FTE for

additional capacity, reporting out weekly and posting trend charts for OEE

and machine downtime. I utilize a dash board management style and

effective meetings structure to resolve on going machine issues that show

up in my report of top ten downtime issues, week over week. I am familiar

with MP2 and Data Acquisition, data systems. I had a tech promoted within

to production Supervisor and 2 techs who received the highest achievement

award in Dale Carnegie since 2007. My maintenance operation has been noted

as a well structured, efficient operation and a model for best practice

amongst all Keurig coffee roasting companies.

. Evaluated as a Top Performer 4 years in a row. (GMCR)

2005-2007 Keurig Production Supervisor, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters

Responsible for meeting daily production and quality goals with 30 staff

members reporting directly to me. Helped

staff to meet individual goals by supporting them

through planning and efficient scheduling. Organized TWI and cross-

functional trainings to meet the demands of a fast

growing department. Completed annual evaluations for

all staff and established a strong team atmosphere. In the two years I

was the production supervisor we raised production quantity and

quality numbers

to exceed the 12 hours shifts and we were a 10 hour shift. We worked

together

as a solid team and took advantage of all CPI and training opportunities.
