Used my abilities as a designer to help create portfolios for upcoming graduating students. I also created three page

spreads for each student show casing their best work for the magazines Design Online & Gaming Online and was

published in June of 2010.

Currently doing freelance work, mostly in the logo/designing areas. (BMW) My most recent work was done for

Hartley Press, also have experience in typesetting and collating.

Mortex Apparel (November 2011 – June 2012)

I was laid off because of the lack of work, but I am a machine operator and I have worked as a seamstress. I can

operate single needle, double needle, serge machine, and cuff machine.

Noima Knitting (1985 – 1992)

Zebulon, NC

My duties were to run Monarch & Bentley knitting machines, knitted marital, trainer for all shifts, set machines up for

patterns, and was mechanics helper.

In previous work experience I managed two convenient stores, consecutively, was division manager (supervised 17

employees) for Roses department store until my position was phased out, and I managed my husband’s roofing

company (GC Roofing) for 20 years giving me a great deal of experience in many areas. I also have had the

opportunity to work in the food industry, for companies like McDonald, Arby’s, and private restaurants and because of

my different job experiences it as enabled me to perform a wide variety of jobs and task. I am able to learn, complete

projects, and problem solve when needed. In the past I have been a store manager, machine operator, carpenter, and

assembled parts for phones, keypads, and ran a Tonka electronic bobbins for TNI. I can also run and use software

programs and have a great deal of computer experience.

RELATED INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES

Refurbishing, trouble shooting, and working with computer repairs are a hobby. In addition, being Creative and using my

creativity, Designing, Problem Solving, Modeling and character animation, texturing, concept art, and generating game concepts

and ideas for design/games are areas that I am most interested in and enjoy the most.
