Project title: PROTECTION SCHEMES OF 500 MW GENERATORS

Role : Team leader

Description : The project be done at Dr.NTTPS

(APGENCO),Vijayawada .The project mainly concentrated on the possible

faults, protective devices that detect abnormal conditions in electrical

circuits by constantly measuring electrical quantities like voltages,

currents, power frequency which may change during fault conditions and

their role is minimizing the faults and consequent damage. And also we are

learning about the different protective relays and their characteristics,

numerical relays, protection of generators, Over all plant operation and

studied about the economy of power generation Reliable operation of motors

and bus bars.

MINI Project Details

Project Title: SWITCH GEAR PROTECTION OF 220KV/132KV/33KV SUBSTATION

Role : Team leader

Description : In this study project we have to learn about the basic

operation of switch gear and protection. And we have to observe the

different components of substation equipment and its operation on the

220kv/132kv/33kv substation. In this we are analyzed about conventional and

digitalized relaying
