Beauregard Home Improvement - Putnam CT 2002-
present
Self-employed- design and build general contractor, licensed MA
construction supervisor, Lead RRP certified. Determined customer
needs, estimated and planned residential and commercial construction
services. Familiar with building codes and working with diverse
materials, while providing safe and professional results. Highlights
include: using 64ft roof trusses to successfully alter an existing
roof, and re-supporting a home that had slid off of its footings by
using steel I beams and digging new footings, and built the first floor
for "the castle in Woostock, CT".
Had multiple employees and subcontractors, organized finances using
Quick Books, solicited state municipal, residential and commercial
contracts.
John Morowski Inc. - Northbridge, MA
2000-2002
Carpenter/ Estimator- performed estimates, planning, building/
remodeling, framing, finish carpentry and painting.
Industrial Commercial Electric/ Millennium Architectural- Worcester,
MA 1998-2000
Liaison- split employment between two affiliated companies (2 days in
the field/ 3 days in the office).
I.C.E. Field Work- worked as an apprentice electrician as needed for
a 100+ employee company, maintained stock room, organized inventory,
performed minor upkeep and repairs to buildings and maintenance
garage.
Millennium Design Engineer- drew MEP Drawings (autoCad14) for
commercial projects
(i.e. Staples, Papa Gino's and Zoots Cleaners), sized HVAC units using
Lennox software as well as manual calculation methods to determine
heating and cooling loads, and duct, register and return sizing and
placement.
Science Research Laboratory - Somerville, MA

Hands-on Engineer- in 15 employee research and development facility.
Contributed in the design, construction and execution of varied short
term and long term projects highlights include:
X-Ray Lithography- the latest generation microchip etching
technology. Procured parts, kept inventory (Parts and Vendors
software), transformer fabrication, cooling tower and control cabinet
fabrication, PCB building, repairing and outsourcing for small batch
fabrication.
Electron Beam and UV Light Cured Resins- worked on high speed/ low
temp cure applications in adhesives and fiberglass composite resins.
Designing, building and executing test procedures, machining jigs and
fixtures, measuring/ mixing chemicals, measuring tensile fracture
strength of adhesives and plastics. Procuring test Equipment.

Beswick Engineering - Ipswich, MA; Portsmouth, NH
1994-1996
Process Engineer- for 20 employee miniature pneumatic fitting
manufacturer. Responsible for induction welding/ brazing assembly of
miniature and brass components. Designed jigs and fixtures.
Maintained machinery. Designed / built custom attachment to reduce
oxidation formed during brazing, successfully minimizing high
temperature oxidation on difficult to clean assemblies. Designed/
built custom vacuum packaging machinery to ship vibration sensitive
parts. Assisted in facility relocation, planning machinery layout and
lighting for new building.
Bailey Manufacturing - Seabrook, NH
1993-1994
Process Engineer- for 500+ employee company fabricating and painting
plastic automobile parts. Responsible for robotic and manual paint
process. Worked to optimize the paint coverage for each production
run. Tracked data from previous production runs by paint type to
determine best paint flow rate. Troubleshooting paint related issues
involving; injection molding, DI water cleaning, air born vs. paint
contaminants, and paint thickness. Diagnostic tools included dyes to
measure substrate surface tension, microscope measurements to
determine coating thickness and microscope observations to isolate
contamination source.

Summer Semester Painting- Worcester, MA College
summers 1990-1992
Self-Employed - Operated and ran painting business, with up to 3
employees. Solicited work, performed estimating, office duties and
did the painting. Grossed $60,000 in three summers. Highlights
included; commercial work for Maurice the Pants Man stores,
negotiating and contracting for painting work at Worcester State
College, and subcontracting my paint crew to set scaffolding for
renovation work on the dome of the NH State Capitol building.
Old Sturbridge Village - Sturbridge, MA Weekends
2000-2005
Historical Interpreter - (Blacksmith, Carpenter, Cooper, Farmer,
musket demonstration) presented a slice of 1840's New England rural
life. Taught, demonstrated, and discussed similarities and
differences between the dawn of the manufacturing era and today.
