SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Experienced as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for the past 30years. Worked in a
52 bed level IIIb NICU for 14years as a staff NNP and as NNP Manager.
Worked in a 15bed level IIIa NICU for 19months as Head NNP.Also, worked in
Level II nursery for 12years working independent with back up pediatric
coverage. Skills include Endotracheal intubation, UAL/UVL insertion, PICC
insertion, peripheral ABG sticks and peripheral arterial line placement,
Lumbar puncture, chest tube insertion, needle aspiration, suprapubic bladder
taps and intraventricular reservoir taps. Duties included rounding daily with
physician, parent rounds, daily exam of infant, notes, orders for nurses,
discharges, attending high risk vaginal deliveries and attending all C section
deliveries and consult service for area pediatricians, interpretation of labs and
chest xrays. Also, have general Pediatrics and Adult Med Surg experience as
well as extensive experience as Charge Nurse and Assistant Head Nurse. Have
years of experience as a Guest Speaker providing Inservice Education to
Nurses, Residents, Doctors and the Community.
