● Managing HL7 Interface support of the Sentri 7 software used for Medication Optimization
and Infection Prevention.
● Utilization of Mirth Connect Integration Engine and Cloverleaf Integration Services (version
5.4, 5.6, and 5.8)
● Responsible for reviewing issues involving HL7 messages inbound to Sentri 7 from HMS,
Meditech, and Mckesson Information Systems. The messages are routed from Laboratory,
Pharmacy, Radiology, and Surgery.
● Perform Current State workflow Analysis of the Laboratory Microbiology departments for
each facility implementation to insure CHS is receiving all available Microbiology results for

products. Also includes McKesson STAR Laboratory and Radiology Applications. I was Project
Lead or Co-Lead for these applications for seven hospital implementations.
● Duties included developing Project Plan and Timelines. Performed application build and
maintenance, troubleshooting of application issues, and integration or system upgrade testing
when needed.
● Duties also included maintaining and implementation of instrument interfaces for Laboratory
Analyzers with STAR Laboratory.
● Responsible for creating training and testing documentation for the STAR LIS and RIS.
Documentation was used for Implementation and end-user Training Classes in the Laboratory and
Radiology departments of the MedCath Heart Hospitals. Classes were held for new hospital
implementation and any site needing additional knowledge for their Laboratory or Radiology
