I was a CNC machine operator and a winder operator. As a CNC machine operator we made fiber-optic cable with fiberglass that was set-up on CNC machine depending on style and size. Once complete we had to do change over for next style.
As a winder operator we had to set up winder according to style sheet. Once machine cycle start depending on the style we had to QA test 3-5 rolls to make sure it would swell in water. If did not it was rejected. If pass test then we placed in plastic bag and placed in box.

Creel fiberglass roven according to style and thread comb with required ends on CNC machine. Then get proper size beam and make sure clean and set in machine to start style. When machine stop then I had to search for broken end and fix and jog up end to re-start.
As a winder operater, I started winder and doff off the yarn as it was large enough and place on cart. Machine doff off every 2 hours. Job was a producton job.
