06/06-Present, General Dynamics Information Technology, Senior Database Developer:

Responsible for design, development and testing of a VB/C#/ASP.Net, IIS application to an Oracle database containing over 2,000,000 records. Provides technical support and maintenance for an existing Delphi/Oracle database application as well as help desk support. Interacts directly with the customer and over 300 end users throughout the US to ensure full specification of requirements, design approaches, and recommended solutions. Provides training for customers and end users as needed. Create PL/SQL queries, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions and triggers. Uses PL/SQL to gather and export data to MS Excel. Uses VBA and Excel macros to manipulate data and create charts, graphs and pivot tables. Uses VCS and merge applications to facilitate development. Uses third-party software to perform web scraping and storage in both databases and Excel. Create canned and ad-hoc reports.

01/00-06/06, Anteon Corporation, Senior Programmer Analyst:

Converted a Microsoft Access database using data transformation to a client-server application with a Delphi front end/Oracle back end. This included creating a Wise Solutions application installer, RoboHelp help file and a product website. Served as a consultant for technical requirements within the Dayton Operations Center for computer capabilities, alternatives, and problem solving. Troubleshoot and perform simple repairs on PCs as well as network configuration. Create custom reports using ReportBuilder and Crystal Reports.

05/98 – 01/00, NCI Information Systems, Inc., Principal Database Developer:

Developed the new Corporate Data Repository System (CDRS) using PowerBuilder and Oracle. Primary responsibilities included designing, modifying and testing of the client application, coding scripts, reports and interfaces, aided in the development of user and programmer documentation. Additional responsibilities included support for the CDRS help desk, serving as an instructor for customer training sessions, and performed necessary support actions for the production database.

01/96 – 08/98, United States Air Force, Materiel Systems Group, Program Manager:

Designed, developed, and maintained the New Orderly Room Management System (NORMS) using Delphi, Paradox, and RoboHelp Office. Also wrote on-line help documentation, created installation programs, maintained the NORMS website, and trained users on the use of the software. Awarded the “Air Force Materiel Command’s Best Practice Award” in February 1995. Additional responsibilities included PC technical support and maintenance, software support and training, Novell network support, Windows NT administrator, and organized, directed, and supervised a staff of eight technical support personnel.

11/93 – 01/96, United States Air Force, Materiel Systems Group, Developer/Analyst:

Converted the Product Management Resources Database (PMRD) from a desktop application to a client-server application in a development team environment. Converted the back end from Paradox to Sybase and developed a Delphi client. First release was delivered to the customer in only two weeks.

01/92 – 11/93, United States Air Force, 27th OG, Wing Manpower Manager:

Tracked current manpower levels ensuring that all specialties are fully manned. Developed a manpower program using MS Excel and VBA to create, update, and delete personnel data in the Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS) with date expoerted from the Air Force Personnel System. Developed a program to track current manning levels based on specialty including six-month and one-year history and projections. Screened new personnel for placement within the organization.

01/90 – 01/92, United States Air Force, 27th AGS, Squadron Training NCO:

Coordinated, scheduled, and monitored a corporate training program supporting over 1,100 personnel in four Aircraft Maintenance Units. Developed dBase, FoxBase, FoxPro and Clipper databases to track and report personnel training qualifications on all assigned personnel. Developed Enable spreadsheet programs to track education and training for all personnel assigned to Cannon AFB. Developed a Lotus 1-2-3 suspense tracking system allowing customer to ensure all sponsorship and projected personnel gain information is returned in a timely manner.

07/78 - 01/90, United States Air Force, Aircraft General Squadrons, Flightline Expeditor, Assistant Flight Chief, Crew Chief:

Inspects aircraft structures, systems, components, and support equipment. Supervises and performs aircraft and component inspections. Interprets inspection findings and determines adequacy of corrective actions. Inspects and checks components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation, and operation.
