Formula Hybrid Team - June 2011 - Present
. Led a team with the goal of investigating the application of composite
structural panels for formula race car.
. Designed a carbon fiber nosecone for upcoming year's race.
Intro to Engineering Design - January 2011 - Present
. Worked with a team to develop a portable water filtration trailer
which can be universally attached to, and powered by bicycles.
. Led the technical aspect of the project, designed and assembled the
peristaltic pump and power train.
. The project has extended beyond the class, and our team has won two
grants (Class of 51 Scholarship, and Change the World Challenge) to
improve and market our design.
Space Vehicle Design - September 2012 - December 2012
. Designed a conceptual satellite constellation to maintain constant
communication with a station situated on the moon in Shackleton
Crater.
. Worked on propulsion subsystem and selected thrusters, storage tanks,
and launch vehicle.
Undergraduate Research Assistant - October 2012 - December 2012
. Trained to operate Zeta 3D microscope and associated software
. Scanned composite samples in order to determine feasibility of
processing the material on a micro milling machine

. Developed a working knowledge of the WindowMaker GUI developer and the
C++ language in a short period prior to the project.
. Designed a GUI for control software for use in the South Korean power
grid.
Senior Design Project - September 2008 - May 2009
. Developed a detection system for washing machines which identified
electronic devices in inserted clothing.
. Designed and machined a mechanism to spring load the door and lock it
normally to the machine.
. Took a leading role in the identification and acquisition of necessary
