Supervised and coordinated activities for 2 production lines, 30 team members. I was
required to track and achieve production goals such as PPH, PE, OEE, QR and be able to
explain any and all deficiencies and what I did or was doing about them. I ensured that all
team members were working efficiently and safely. Resolved employee conflicts
according to the employee handbook. Requested assistance with any repair work needed
on the lines from maintenance department. Communicated with team leads every hour on
our efficiency objectives and what our approach would be to fix any deficiency. Worked
on PPS's and 8D problem solving forms with supporting departments. I was required to
report any scrap, downtime, and any rework that we had, in addition I was also required
to submit a status report for all these areas. I have worked extensively with Ford Motor
Company and General Motors. I launched our Ford production line. This included
creating work instructions, visual Aides, aided in quality processes and procedures,
instituted a 5's plan. I also for a short time coordinated with our sequencing warehouse to
create a production schedule.
