Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, Transportation, Product Innovation and Engineering, Sales and Brand teams to meet or exceed gross margin and Inventory goals by maximizing asset recovery of all returned consumer goods, by utilizing strategic Accounts, product channelization and retail partnerships.

Selected Accomplishments:

• Researched, initiated, negotiated and developed the reverse logistics and asset recovery process with Sohnen Enterprises for Wal-mart and Target returns which equates to about 50% of Haier America return volume.

• Initiated a systematic sales process of scrap goods, maximizing warehouse available space and generating a positive Gross Margin.

• Researched and implemented business with X-stock buyers in Canada, relieving the company of excess storages charges in the Toronto warehouse.

Director of Domestic Operations, 2006 to 1/2010

Hold full accountability for a modern 198,000 sq. ft warehousing/distributing center within this $250M Home Electronics Appliance company. Responsible for all operations, including receiving, inventory, picking, special packaging, QA, shipping, returns, security, facility management and administration. Coordinate all domestic shipments to a wide customer base whilst maintaining an average monthly inventory balance of $26M.

Implemented a change in the way returned merchandise was handled, resulting in the reduction in Returns Freight of $138K in the first six months.

Developed a plan for containers to be pulled during off-peak hours and stored by the drayage company, thus generating a savings of $400K for the fiscal year ending 2008 on an overflow warehouse expense.

Monitored, identified and achieved annual savings of $103K in freight costs for overnight and small packages.
