Managed Sales for the Southeast Region which consists of AL, GA, NC, SC & TN. Accountable for recruiting, training, and coaching for all Account Executives. Oversaw the implementation of National City Mortgage’s “Best in Class” initiative. Improved Sales Management Software usage by 100%. 2007 ended with 17 Account Executives responsible for over $2.2 billion of funded mortgages. Net profit for the region exceeded $6.5 million. For 2007, I was the number one Area Sales Manager in the country as ranked by volume, units, and revenue.

Hired as an Account Executive for the state of Georgia. Responsible for building a customer base of mortgage brokers and correspondents. Promoted to Regional Sales Manager within six months. Manage and train Account Executives for the following states: GA, AL, MS, LA, TN, KY. Participate in the growth planning of the company with respect to territory management and product offering. Implemented the use of ACT contact management software for all AE’s. Coordinate product training and presentations for all Account Executives. Chosen to represent sales during the development of the company’s B2B web site.

8/01 Atlanta Branch Manager – Vice President
Employed to build the Atlanta Branch into a Southeast Regional Service Center supporting 10 states. Revised file flow and job descriptions. Recruited Account Executives and operations staff. Trained operations staff on policies, procedures and products, and Account Executives on procedures and products. Responsibilities include profit and loss management, operations management, production management, and administration of branch.

Responsible for building a team of Account Executives to develop business in the Southeast. Helped staff operations center. Consulted with operations management on file flow, policies and procedures. Train Account Executives and customers on the use of our internet based loan search engine, electronic lock, automated underwriting interfaces, and on line loan status. Manage sales team expenses and volume projections. Over 400 approved new customers in 4 months. Extensive use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Access for customer management.

Hired to expand existing Wholesale Program into the Southeast United States. Developed strategic plan for targeting specific programs to individual market segments. Set regional pricing and fees for all first mortgage products. Manage budget, as well as profit and loss to insure profitability. Increased customer satisfaction rating from 83% to 92% and achieved 88% of customer base active, up from 68%. Exceeded growth projections every month.

Launched Whole Loan Purchase Department and sales strategy. Instrumental in development of the channel's infrastructure. Responsible for strategic planning and regional budget.
