Profit Recovery Group

Short-term contract assignment assisting the IT department in staffing. I was responsible for requisitions in the Programming Development, Audit Planning, Production Planning, and Computer Operations area. Requisitions included: Senior Oracle DBA, Senior Programmer Analysts, Programmer Analysts, and Computer Operators.

Cotelligent

Responsible for recruiting experienced senior level PeopleSoft Consultants. Responsibilities included identifying and prescreening candidates, arranging technical interviews, checking references, salary negotiations and extending offers. Employee assimilation duties included accurate completion of all new hire paperwork, explanation of benefits, salary and performance review policies and procedures. Candidate sources included: Internet, cold calling and referrals.

Qwest Communications

As a member of a team of over 30 recruiters responsibilities included staffing telecommunication sales positions throughout the U.S for Qwest Communications. Worked closely with Sales Managers and Corporate Recruiters in the Southeast region to obtain requisitions, and coordinate interviews.

GTE Wireless

Managed a team of two recruiters and one researcher. Responsible for all recruitment efforts in a 7-state area, assisting 19 managers in 17 cities for GTE Wireless. Recruited candidates included: Account Executives, Major Account Managers, and Sales Managers.

GTE Communications

Member of a two person team responsible for staffing a start up CLEC division of GTE. Worked closely with the Director to staff a sales support center from 5 employees to over 150. Positions recruited for included: Sales Engineers, Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Support Coordinators, and all levels of management.

GTE Wireless

Assigned to a team of 4 recruiters and 3 administrative personnel responsible for 120 hires in 90 days for GTE Wireless. Worked directly with MIS Directors and Managers to access hiring needs. Recruited for various positions including, Developers, Project Managers, PC Support and Technical Writers.

ChoicePoint

As a contract recruiter my responsibilities included identifying, screening, and qualifying applicants for the Information Systems department. The primary resources utilized include direct sourcing, Internet recruiting, advertisement in the AJC and referrals. Other responsibilities included coordinating interviews with the hiring managers.

Transquest (a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Airlines)

Recruited candidates in the information systems field. Responsibilities included recruiting on over 190 open requisitions for a variety of IS backgrounds. Utilize the Internet as a primary recruiting source. Conduct telephone pre screen interviews as well as in person structured human resource interviews. Coordinate interviews with managers, including airline and hotel reservations for out of town candidates. Pre screening process included skill’s evaluations and reference checks.
