Huntington Bank – Columbus, OH 2005 – 2008

Senior Vice President

Directed all check based operations including lockbox (5 sites), item processing (4 sites), bill print and mail (2 sites), courier transportation network (300 branches), and cash and armored courier transportation network (560 branches). Led the organization and was promoted through 3 successful acquisitions (Union Federal Bank, Perpetual Savings, Sky Bank). Responsible for $10 million in O&M budget delivering over $12 million in revenue.

Managed the private label item processing for Flagstar Bank in Indianapolis, and lockbox services for Salin Bank and Citizens Bank of Michigan. Also delivered back office servicing for GE Interest Plus which included new account vetting, processing of warrants and redemptions, and the issuing of checks and debit cards.

Provided leadership, training and development for over 160 associates including 7 operation managers throughout the mid-west. Staples Contract Commercial Distribution Center - Cranbury, NJ 1996

Assistant Distribution Manager

Selected to manage all Second and Third Shift operations at Staples Contract Commercial Distribution Center in Cranbury, NJ. Identified operational efficiencies which resulted in the consolidation of both shifts into a single operation.

• Supplied office supplies directly to Fortune 500 companies such as Chase Manhattan Bank, Prudential Insurance, and Johnson & Johnson.

• Processed over 7,300 packages a day, which were shipped LTL via various carriers including UPS, Federal Express, New England Motor Freight, and Central Delivery to accounts across the country.

• Responsible for 3 supervisors, 3 lead associates and 50 hourly associates in a 200,000 square foot facility.

• Converted the facility to a Warehouse Management System in March 1996 based upon AS 400 Sunbeam Mainframe Computers.

CVS Lumberton Distribution Center, Lumberton, NJ 1994 - 1995

Distribution Center Manager

Hired to manage all second Shift Operations which included bulk pick, piece pick, shipping, receiving, and stocking activities. Responsibilities included security associated with pharmaceutical picking and tobacco products. I oversaw cycle counting and participated in multiple full warehouse inventories. Expanded the second shift (through store growth) from 125 to 220 non-union employees and 7 supervisory personnel. Assisted in the redesign of the 900,000 square foot facility to increase staging and incorporate cross docking.

• Initiated vendor alliance dialogue with Johnson & Johnson for improving receiving and inventory controls.

• Maintained an inventory of over $94 million with a volume of over 1.6 million pieces shipped per day. Serviced over 380 CVS stores from Maryland to Connecticut.
