I was assigned to a Ward team, including junior and senior residents to a general medicine wards, assignment included night call, perform history and physical examination on teaching patients, daily progress notes and follow all the rules and regulations governing house staff care of patients including interaction with the patient’s private physician, respond to nursing staff calls to evaluate patients including night and weekend call, attend all required conferences and teaching rounds and complete reading assignments as assigned by senior residents, teaching attending physician or program director.

I performed as Patient Flow Assistant under direct supervision of ER physicians to coordinate and facilitate all the aspects of Patients care.to decrease the length of stay of the patients.

I performed the functions of Physician Assistant in Virginia Cancer Care Clinic under direct supervision of Ravneet Grewal M.D. Participated as First Assist in office-based procedures, among which included bone marrow biopsy. Coordinated Medical record coding and assisted the administrative staff to abstract the proper ICD-Diagnosis codes and CPT procedure codes to facilitate and ensure accurate billing. I was the contact person to obtain Pre-Authorization for any procedure and medications.

I have the belief that if anyone can be informed properly, then the results will be outstanding. This motivated me to plan many new protocols in my office to be able to properly handle patients and the staff to have good and professional communications to reach the goal of the plan with follow up by any way of communications. This made all the patients and staff very motivated and automatically involved them in their care plan. Patients were satisfied and the staffs were happy to make a big change in the community.

I Provided community based medicine and Emergency Services as a General Practitioner in rural area promoting preventive medicine with direct contact with people in rural area.

This Hospital compare to USA trauma centers was the third level of trauma center.
