Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts

Job Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 40.00

Salary Range: $20.00 - $29.50

Pay Info: $5000 Sign on Bonus

Job Summary

The Senior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an essential caregiver focused on providing exemplary resident care in a long-term care environment. Utilizing your extensive CNA experience, you will lead by example, assisting other staff while ensuring the highest standard of care for residents.

In this role, you will:

Deliver personalized nursing care and support for daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Monitor and record vital signs and collect non-invasive body fluid specimens.

Assist with resident transfers, providing physical support while observing best practices.

Prepare meals and create a welcoming dining experience.

Document resident care interactions and report changes in condition to the registered nurse (RN).

Maintain a clean and safe living environment through housekeeping tasks.

Encourage resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.

Participate in department committees and ongoing training as needed.

You may also be responsible for leading restorative nursing programs and maintaining required documentation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred, not mandatory.

Minimum age of 16 with two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Completion of yearly competency testing and 12 hours of continuing education is required annually.

Must be willing to complete Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.

If applicable, must be registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.

Driver’s license and motor vehicle report may be required based on facility needs.
