Interventional Radiology Technologist – Radiology / Cardiology - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Location: Columbus OH

Job Type: Travel Contract

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 4x10 Days

Pay: $3,114.40/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology and Cardiology team. This role involves performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians during interventional radiology and cardiology procedures such as angiography, stent placement, and catheterization.

Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.

Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.

Administer contrast agents and monitor patients for adverse reactions.

Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Monitor patient vital signs and assist with post-procedure care.

Document all procedures accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification required; state licensure as applicable.

Experience: Previous interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab experience preferred.

Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Excellent communication and patient care skills.
