McKee Door Sales of Columbus Inc. is looking for a Commercial Rolling & Sectional Door Installation Technician who doesn’t mind working with their hands, working at heights, and getting the job done right. You’ll install rolling and sectional doors, dock equipment, and operators that keep businesses running. If you like solving problems, working with tools, and taking pride in what you build, keep reading.
What You’ll Do (aka your day-to-day):
Install commercial doors, operators, and dock gear like a pro
Double-check site conditions to make sure everything’s safe and ready
Talk with superintendents, managers, or building owners, no guesswork here
Handle some light framing or adjustments when needed
Keep your truck stocked and tools ready to roll
Read blueprints, diagrams, and tape measures like a boss
Take safety seriously; toolbox talks are part of the gig
Keep the team updated on progress, issues, or when something’s in your way
What We’re Looking For:
1+ year of installation or construction experience
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs, <3 points)
Can lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights
Comfortable working outside in the elements
Know your way around a tape measure and some basic math
Can pass a drug screen and background check
Willing to learn and grow with a team that’s got your back
Compensation & Benefits
$20.00–$41.50/hr, depending on your experience
Weekly pay + guaranteed 40 hours (with overtime available!)
