Mercy Clinic Gastroenterology is seeking a BC/BE gastroenterologist to join a thriving, well-established GI program located on campus of Mercy Hospital Springfield, Missouri, an 880-bed Level I trauma center serving as the regions premier referral hub.

This is a hospital-employed position within a physician-led group that prioritizes fairness, efficiency, and long-term stability. Physicians maintain a strong collective voice in operational decisions and equity across the practice.

880 acute bed hospital Level I trauma center

System-wide EPIC EMR

Established referral pipeline from a large multispecialty network

On campus clinic + endoscopy center for seamless workflow

This Position Offers:

$700k guarantee & $50k Bonus

Four-day work with predictable scheduling

Call 1:8 supported by a strong cross-coverage culture and APP support

Reliable path to full clinic and endoscopy volume - immediate demand

Strong, consistent referral base from a large regional network

No cap on earnings with upper-quartile to top-decile potential

Efficient endoscopy unit with reliable access and protected block time

Opportunity for advanced procedures such as RFA, capsule endoscopy, BRAVO, Manometry, ERCP, EUS, and TIF

Equally shared call and endoscopy time - no senior hierarchy

Relocation assistance and professional liability coverage
