Standard Work Shifts Available:

1st Shift M-Th 5am-3pm

2nd shift M-Th 3pm-1am

Responsibilities:

-Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.

-Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.

-Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.

-Must have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.

-Must perform basic mechanical repairs.

-Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications.

-May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.

-Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.

-Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.

-Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.

-Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.

-Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.

-Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.

-Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

MUST HAVE:

-Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years’ work experience required.

-Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.

-Experience in designing minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.

-Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.

-Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
