Our client <\/span span b span span>is currently seeking Sr. Spacecraft Electrical Engineer to join the Space Team. The mission of the Space Team is to design, build, test, launch, operate and maintain a constellation of small commercial satellites. This group is also responsible for building and operating a segment of ground stations to provide communications with these satellites. Satellite clusters and ground segments provide the platform for RF data collection that is essential to the company's core business.

As the Senior Spacecraft Electrical Engineer, your main responsibilities will be span span b>
<\/b span span> <\/div>
Design and test of the next generation of our spacecraft buses & RF collection payloads b span>
<\/b span span li>
Develop hardware unit tests and associated support equipment, for both unit level and full system integration tests of our payloads and satellite buses b span>
<\/b span span li>
Search for new innovative hardware solutions that can enhance our RF collection platform b span>
<\/b span span li>
Take a hands\-on role with assembly, integration and test of our RF payload hardware, and production of the spacecraft b span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Bachelorâ s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
<\/span span li>
High level of proficiency with Printed Circuit Boards, for schematic capture, layout, and manufacturing for fabrication and assembly with Contract Manufacturers.
<\/span span li>
High level of proficiency with power electronics design, high speed digital electronics design, and a basic level of proficiency with RF circuit design.
<\/span span li>
Experience with Printed Circuit Board design using Altium.
<\/span span li>
Experience with electronic lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, etc).
<\/span span li>
Basic experience developing software for embedded hardware control especially in Python or C++.
<\/span span li>
A passion for completing a job well \- attention to detail.
<\/span span li>
A good attitude and team\-oriented spirit.

Experience developing flight hardware for small satellites, and an understanding of best practices for flight hardware design span>

Experience in the Space industry especially with small satellites, including environmental testing (Thermal, TVAC, Vibe) span>

Experience with RF electronics, and RF lab equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.)<\/span>
<\/span span li>
Experience with Software Defined Radio span>
<\/span span li>
Experience with automated electronics testing including SCPI and other industry standard protocols span>
<\/span span li>
Experience with version control, specifically git<\/span>
<\/span span li>
