Leading Freight Forwarder in the Ontario area is seeking a Freight Forwarding Account Manager to join their growing branch! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Logistics/Transportation looking to learn more about sales/account management.

Full Time: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Salary: 55K-70K Base

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to internal/external clients via phone/email while serving as the first point of contact for the company

Present company services to potential clients while meeting/exceeding sales goals

Calculate accurate rates/quotes while ensuring the customers needs are met

Prepare customer agreements/contracts

Accurately utilizing the company database to maintain/update customer accounts

Transfer invoice data into local systems while accurately prorating the revenue based on contracts/agreements

Compile and maintain customer account records

Document and ensure proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in Business Development for the Freight Forwarding Industry

Knowledge of International Freight Forwarding

Book of business is a huge plus, but not required

Experience leading a team of Account Executives to include sales training, goal setting, etc.
