Production Manager – Packing Manufacturing

Salary: £50,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusively supporting a great business with an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of a high- volume manufacturing operation and drive performance, quality, and team development.

About the Role

You’ll be leading day-to-day production across a high-volume packing facility, ensuring output, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently achieved. It’s a role for someone who enjoys being visible on the shop floor, supporting their team, and continuously improving processes to keep things running like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Manager include:

Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to deliver consistent performance

Oversee daily production planning, resource allocation, and workflow management

Ensure all products meet quality and compliance standards

Drive improvements across safety, productivity, waste reduction, and line efficiency

Report on KPIs and operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement

Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, and quality teams to resolve issues swiftly

Maintain high standards of H&S across the department

Support the introduction of new products, equipment, and processes

We’re looking for Production Managers with the below skills & experience:

Proven experience as a Production Leader, ideally within packaging, FMCG or high volume manufacturing

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

Excellent knowledge of production planning and lean principles

A practical, solutions-focused mind-set with strong communication skills

Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift

A commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and quality
