Job Title: Sanitation Technician

Job Description

The team is responsible for performing the proper cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment and production areas of the facility.

Responsibilities

Regular worksite attendance.

Maintain Good Manufacturing Processes.

Clean and sanitize all equipment, production areas, packaging equipment, warehouse, and food ingredient receiving and shipping areas according to proper protocols and specifications, meeting food safety requirements.

Inspect, promote, and maintain adherence to food safety cleanliness in the handling of product, ingredients, and finished goods using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety Standards.

Ensure all chemical containers are correctly labeled.

Understand chemical or non-chemical pest control systems.

Keep neat, accurate records of all work performed daily.

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Follow all required work safe practices, including wearing all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, and safe chemical handling.

Report any food safety, quality, or safety-related issues to management.Essential Skills

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Mechanically inclined.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and climate-controlled. The role involves making coffee drinks sold in cans at stores and gas stations. Employees are frequently required to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl in tight spaces, and must be capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manhattan, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
