Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time occupational therapy opportunity is available for a skilled professional serving K-12 school-aged children. This contract position spans the full school year and focuses on delivering high-quality services within a pact geographic area of approximately 10 square miles. The setting involves supporting students across six schools, providing a dynamic and diverse caseload of approximately 70 students.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapy that enhances students functional abilities in school environments. The role may incorporate teletherapy tools alongside traditional therapy methods, ensuring accessibility and adaptability to students needs. Collaboration with educators, parents, and other healthcare providers is essential to create integrated support plans that foster student success.
Key qualifications and experience desired:
Proven expertise in school-based occupational therapy, including teletherapy proficiency
Experience working with children from preschool through high school (PK-12)
Ability to manage a caseload of up to 70 students
Strong knowledge of educational and healthcare standards related to pediatric occupational therapy
Adaptability to both in-person and remote therapy delivery methods
