Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine partsMeasure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assemblyRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tablesRepair machine tools and partsFit and assemble components and machine parts to close toleranceMaintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instrumentsMaintain inspection records and complete inspection reportsVerify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
