Acara Solutions seeking for Senior Manager, Credit in Concord, ON.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Length: Direct Hire

Oversees all credit and collection activities with the goal of reducing the Accounts Receivable balance by driving the teams towards the desired results, enhancing collection tools, fine-tuning the credit review process, improving customer payment cycles, and mitigating risk exposure

Responsible for overall management of the financial risk associated with the accounts receivable and the extension of Credit.

Use of relevant tools to promote the review and analysis of customer portfolios, trends, and other relevant financial information.

Responsible for developing existing and future Credit teammates and building a professional team that can exceed our expectations for collections and credit risk management performance.

Oversees regional collection activities to improve non-pay disconnects, reduce bad debts, ensure return on third-party collection costs, monitor, and review customer aging reports with Regional Management.

Develops and enhances policies and procedures around the collections process.

Jointly responsible for the approval of Credit for the division in accordance with the Credit Policy.

Establishes quarterly collection targets, manages staff to achieve goals, and develops a systematic process to forecast receivables.

Manages, enforces, and updates the Company's Credit Policy and practices to meet evolving business needs and mitigate risk.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 6 years' experience in analyzing financial statements and credit/collections data.

Minimum of 6 years' experience in credit or collections management, including policy enforcement and reporting.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business

Working knowledge of Credit practices in the construction industry is a definite asset.

Excellent written and oral communication skills
