Job Summary
The QA Software Officer is responsible for performing manual testing to ensure software quality, accuracy, and reliability. This role supports the development team by validating features, identifying defects, and ensuring smooth software releases.
Main Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing on web and/or mobile applications.
Review business requirements and develop test cases and test scenarios.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and usability tests.
Identify, record, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
Verify bug fixes and ensure resolved issues meet acceptance criteria.
Support UAT and prepare test reports.
Ensure test documentation is accurate and up to date.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and related teams.
Main Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in Manual QA or Software Testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and A methodologies.
Ability to create clear test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
Basic knowledge of SQL, API testing, and mobile testing is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork.
