We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a 179-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Jan 5, 2026. This full-time opportunity features 24-hour shifts, including day coverage and beeper call responsibilities on nights and weekends. Candidates must be proficient in EUS and ERCP and able to commit to at least 7 consecutive days per month, with the possibility of extension beyond the initial three-month coverage period.

Provider Type Needed: Gastroenterologist

Schedule: 24-hour shifts; 7am-3pm with night beeper call Monday-Friday, plus 24-hour beeper call on weekends

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide comprehensive gastroenterology coverage during 24-hour shifts

Perform required procedures including EUS, ERCP, colonoscopy, and polypectomy

Conduct esophageal, duodenal, and luminal stent placements

Manage inpatient and beeper call responsibilities as scheduled

Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical documentation

Additional Information

Must be board certified in Gastroenterology

Active Ohio state medical license required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required

Required procedural experience in the past two years:

ERCP (150 cases)

Esophageal/duodenal/luminal stent placement (20 cases)

Colonoscopy and polypectomy (100 cases)
