The Human Resources Manager oversees all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, and organizational development. This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership while supporting a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR policies and practices align with the organization's goals. The HR Manager is a key resource for employees and managers, delivering guidance, resolving issues, and fostering an environment of trust and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the organization. Employee Relations
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, or policy violations.
Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Performance Management & Development
Manage performance review processes, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals.
Provide coaching to managers on performance feedback and employee development.
Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives. HR Policy & Compliance
Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Oversee documentation, personnel files, and HR systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
Monitor compliance with labor regulations, safety requirements, and company guidelines. Compensation & Benefits
Support payroll processes, benefits administration, and open enrollment activities.
Assist employees with benefits inquiries and problem resolution.
Analyze compensation trends and make recommendations for competitive pay structures. Strategic HR Initiatives
Partner with leadership to plan workforce strategies and contribute to long-term organizational development.
Lead HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, culture-building activities, diversity programs, and retention strategies.
Utilize data and HR metrics to make informed recommendations and improvements. Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5+ years of HR experience, with increasing levels of responsibility.
Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
