Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring an OH or compact license and EPIC experience.
Responsibilities
Position is in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Shift is three 12-hour days, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed
Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients
Uses EPIC EMR system
Primary responsibilities include delivering critical care to pediatric patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Floating to multiple units is a key requirement and assignments will be appropriate for skill set
First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
No special scheduling requests such as block scheduling will be accommodated
Strict attendance and punctuality expectations are enforced
Requirements
Active OH or compact RN license in hand
Minimum of 2 years PICU experience highly preferred
EPIC experience required
Must provide 2 supervisory references for consideration, at least one from a manager or supervisor
First-time travelers typically need more than 3 years of experience and Level 1 Trauma experience
Not eligible if employed in a permanent position at the facility within the last 2 years
Local candidates not accepted; must live more than 60 miles from the facility
