This travel nursing job is ideal for experienced ER nurses seeking new challenges in one of Ohio's leading hospital systems.\n\n\nER RN Job Details – Columbus, OH\n\n Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio healthcare jobs)\n Unit: Emergency Department Observation Unit (CC99437)\n Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Assignment\n Start Date: January 12, 2026\n End Date: April 13, 2026\n Contract Length: 13 weeks\n Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)\n Hours per Week: 36\n Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1720\n Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4\n Charting System: EPIC\n\n\nER Registered Nurse Qualifications\n\n Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department RN experience\n Active Registered Nurse license (compact RN license or Ohio RN license required at submission)\n Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program\n Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS\n Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred\n Ability to provide two professional references (one from a nurse manager, director, or supervisor)\n Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions considered)\n\n\nER RN Responsibilities\n\n Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department Observation Unit\n Monitor and interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias\n Administer IV insulin and heparin protocols\n Manage renal failure and cardiac/vasoactive drips, including titration\n Administer blood products and manage tracheostomies\n Initiate and participate in rapid response team interventions\n Perform wound care and manage wound vacs\n Provide non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy)\n Accurately document patient care in EPIC\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy\n\n\n \n Experience the excitement of Columbus, OH, and grow your nursing career with a leading healthcare employer.
