Instructs students in reading and/or language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, health, physical education, art, music, and other assigned areas of curriculum, utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Education. The level of instruction will be based upon each pupil's reasonable achievement expectancy.
Facilitates the pupil' s development in citizenship, basic communication skills and other general elements of the course of study specified in state law, district policies and administrative regulations and procedures of the district.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of education requirements and procedures for classroom implementation
• Knowledge of developmental milestones and learning development
• Ability to work as a team member with staff, parents and community
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan and oversee developmentally appropriate lessons for students
• All other classroom teacher duties
• Work closely with parents
CONDITIONS:
• Daily Rate: $250/day or $125/half day (4 hours or less)
• Long-term Daily Rate: $270/day or $135/half day (Long-term = 10 days or more in the same classroom)
• Hourly Rate for Trainings/Meetings: $30/hour
• On-Call assignments with advance planning when possible
