NSX Architect (Contract - 2 days per week)

About the Role

Luxoft is seeking an experienced L2/L3 NSX Architect to design, implement, and support advanced VMware NSX network virtualization solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects while maintaining a flexible schedule.

What You’ll Do

Lead the design and architecture of VMware NSX environments aligned with business and technical requirements.

Provide advanced L2/L3 operational support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Deploy, configure, and maintain NSX-T Data Center components integrated with VMware vSphere.

Implement micro-segmentation, distributed firewalls, and routing policies for enhanced security.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on modernization and automation initiatives.

Maintain detailed design documentation and mentor engineering teams.

Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Extensive experience in enterprise networking and virtual network environments.

Hands-on experience with VMware NSX.

Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), VPNs, VLANs, and network security principles.

Experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.

Solid troubleshooting skills in complex environments.

Familiarity with automation tools (PowerCLI, Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.

Nice to Have

VMware certifications (VCAP-NV, VCDX-NV).

Cisco or cloud networking certifications (CCNP, AWS, Azure).
