Job Title: Inbound Supervisor

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm

Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a high volume distribution center that supplies automotive parts to customers throughout the region. They are looking for an Inbound Supervisor to lead the receiving and put away functions on the first shift.

This role is ideal for a hands on leader who is comfortable on the floor, jumping in with the team when needed, while also driving safety, accuracy, and on time receiving performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day to day inbound operations including receiving, checking, put away, dock scheduling, and staging

Assign work, set priorities, and monitor productivity for the inbound team during the 7:00am to 3:30pm shift

Verify that all inbound shipments are received accurately and on time, with proper documentation in the WMS

Ensure inventory is put away correctly to support picking and overall warehouse flow

Track inbound KPIs such as dock to stock time, receiving accuracy, and vendor compliance

Train, coach, and develop associates and leads, including cross training across inbound functions

Participate in and lead daily huddles, communicating goals and follow ups

Partner with Inventory Control, Outbound, and Transportation to resolve issues and improve process flow

Promote a strong safety culture, including enforcing policies and reporting near misses or incidents

Support continuous improvement activities using root cause analysis and standard work

Qualifications

Two or more years of warehouse leadership experience in inbound, receiving, or a similar operation

Experience in a distribution center, 3PL, or high volume warehouse environment

Working knowledge of a warehouse management system and basic Excel

Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable for results

Strong problem solving skills and comfort making decisions in a fast paced setting

Ability to regularly lift, move, and stand while supporting floor operations as needed

Automotive or parts distribution experience is a plus, but not required

Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus

What This Role Offers
