Akkodis is seeking a Mainframe developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. You will develop and maintain mainframe applications while ensuring robust DB2 and CICS administration.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Mainframe developer job responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using DB2 and CICS technologies.

Perform DB2 administration tasks, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Manage CICS administration activities to ensure system stability and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices for mainframe development.

Provide production support and resolve issues related to mainframe applications and databases. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

6-8 years of experience in mainframe application development and administration.

Hands-on expertise in Mainframe DB2 application development and DB2 administration.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
