Job Specification: Validation Engineer : Analog (Freelance) Work Location: Hamburg, DE:HBG02 Job Title: Research and Development : Validation : Validation Engineer Analog II Role Type: Freelancer On:site Requirement: 5 days per week (slightly negotiable) Experience Level: 4:5 years Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Analog Validation Engineer to support validation activities for an integrated circuit designed for next:generation automotive radar systems, including assisted driving and autonomous emergency braking technologies.
Key Responsibilities :Perform IC validation as part of a multicultural, multisite engineering team :Evaluate CMOS circuit performance across digital, analog, and radar/high:frequency domains :Use embedded software expertise to support product performance evaluation :Support customer design:in activities and assist with customer complaint resolution :Contribute to the refinement, validation, and specification of next:generation radar IC designsCandidate Profile :Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field :Strong experience in embedded software programming (mandatory) :Hands:on experience with laboratory setups to validate and characterize CMOS ICs in the MHz:GHz domain, using: :Spectrum analyzers :VNAs :Signal sources :Frequency multipliers :Oscilloscopes :Understanding of high:frequency circuit elements (mixers, PLLs, ADCs, transmission lines, waveguides, antennas, etc.) :Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes :Excellent problem:solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills :Ability to work effectively in an international team environment :Supportive team mindset with a proactive, initiative:driven approach :Strong communication skills and fluency in English
