We are seeking a Technical Buyer to play a pivotal role in our procurement operations within the engineering, manufacturing, or mining sectors. This position requires a proactive professional who thrives under pressure, demonstrates strong business acumen, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.

You will be responsible for sourcing raw materials and technical engineering products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

Education:

Degree preferred but not essential

Experience and technical knowledge are key

Certifications & Licenses:

Familiarity with ISO Standards: 9001, 3834, 14001, and 45001

Exposure to INCOTERMS and import processes

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Experience: 35 years in engineering, manufacturing, or mining procurement

RFQs and purchase orders

Supplier liaison, negotiation, and selection

Sourcing raw materials and technical products

Exposure to imports and INCOTERMS

Cross-collaboration with engineering teams and key stakeholders

Ethical, assertive, and self-motivated

Technical & System Skills:

ERP experience (Syspro)

Strong reporting, administration, and process management
