CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can create and optimize programs for our state-of-the-art CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Create and edit CNC programs for mills and/or lathes using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360).

Interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models to determine programming requirements.

Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates to maximize efficiency and part quality.

Perform machine setup and conduct initial test runs to verify the accuracy of new programs.

Troubleshoot and debug programs to resolve issues and optimize performance.

Collaborate with machinists and engineers to continuously improve manufacturing processes.

Ensure all programs adhere to company safety standards and quality control protocols.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer.

Strong proficiency in CAM software and G-code programming.

Expertise in interpreting blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and technical specifications.

Solid understanding of CNC machine operation and tooling.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

A technical degree or certification in machining, CNC programming, or a related field is a plus.
