80,000-100,000 JOB LOCATION THIKA DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Production & Operations Management Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.

Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance with SOPs.

Support the implementation of production schedules and ensure timely delivery of finished products.

Coordinate material availability with procurement and inventory teams.

Equipment & Process Oversight Ensure proper use, maintenance, and calibration of manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshoot production equipment issues and liaise with technical teams for repairs.

Recommend improvements for process optimization, cost reduction, and reduced downtime.

Quality & Food Safety Compliance Ensure adherence to food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) across all operations.

Work closely with quality assurance teams to maintain consistent product quality.

Participate in internal audits and corrective action plans.

Team Leadership & People Management Supervise and guide production staff to achieve operational goals.

Participate in staff training on processes, safety, and equipment handling.

Monitor staff performance and support continuous skill development.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.

Analyze production data and contribute to initiatives that enhance productivity.

Participate in planning and executing improvement projects within the operations unit.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Production Management, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in food processing, preferably within paste or jam manufacturing.

Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and production workflow.

Knowledge of food safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.

Proficient in production planning and process optimization.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
