About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Volvo or Scania Truck and Hydraulics Mechanic to join our high-performing team. Based in Perth, this FIFO role takes you into the Pilbara to work on a modern fleet of European Euro 6 trucks.
Your day-to-day will include diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across both heavy trucks and hydraulic systems. In addition, you’ll ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum while maintaining top safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Volvo and Scania Euro 6 trucks
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and related components
Perform scheduled servicing and emergency repairs
Record maintenance work accurately and in line with compliance standards
Adhere to strict site safety and operational procedures
Through your expertise, you’ll help keep our fleet operating at peak performance, ensuring both reliability and safety.
About You
A strong candidate will bring:
Proven experience with European trucks (Volvo or Scania preferred)
Solid knowledge of Euro 6 engines, diagnostics, and repair methods
Hands-on understanding of hydraulic systems
A proactive and safety-first mindset
The ability to work well independently as well as within a FIFO team
