Finance & Accounts Manager – Japanese-speaking

Euro London Appointments are delighted to partner with a global trading specialist with a worldwide customer base in their search for a Japanese-speaking Finance & Administration Manager.

In this role, you will oversee the internal accounts function and support financial operations across multiple international offices.

This role will operate in 4 different currencies so experience of working across multiple currencies is essential.

This is the ideal position for someone looking to build on previous Accounts experience in a close-knit working environment with the use of your Japanese language skills.

Key responsibilities:

Perform daily bookkeeping, including SAGE entries, invoice processing, expenses, VAT returns, and PAYE-related tasks.

Collaborate with internal teams and external accountants on financial queries and reconciliations.

Produce monthly and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, cashflow).

Prepare budgets and forecasts in partnership with the leadership team.

Oversee month-end close, annual audits, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Analyse current processes and propose improvements.

Support general finance and administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

Fluency in Japanese and English is essential

3+ years of previous experience in an Accountancy function for an SME

Experience of working across multiple currencies is essential.

Proficiency in accounting software

Highly organised and skilled at prioritisation. Able to meet deadlines.

A positive, can-do attitude who can work on their own initiative.

Previous experience of managing others would be a benefit.
