Compliance Manager

Theale / Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)

Permanent

We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join our Governance, Risk & Compliance team. Reporting to the Senior GRC Counsel, this role will play a key part in strengthening our compliance culture and ensuring the business operates with integrity, transparency, and full adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Responsibilities of the Compliance Manager include:

Develop and maintain a central compliance toolkit (frameworks, templates, policies, guidance).

Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and systems.

Monitor and interpret regulations (e.g., Ofcom, GDPR, competition law) and ensure company-wide compliance.

Investigate breaches, recommend corrective actions, and support compliance across health & safety, environmental, business continuity, and information security.

Lead annual Beacon Audits with external auditors and shareholder teams.

Act as liaison with regulatory authorities and collaborate with legal, IT, HR, operations, and HSQE teams.

Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop corrective action plans.

Plan and conduct internal audits, monitor processes, and deliver training on compliance procedures.

Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.

The successful Compliance Manager will have:

Proven experience in compliance management within fast-paced environments.

Strong knowledge of GDPR, KYC, risk frameworks, and competition law.

Certified (or working towards) in project methodology, ideally Prince2.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships.

A collaborative team player with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach.
