We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle APEX SME to support a major federal program. The role includes full lifecycle development of custom Oracle applications using Oracle APEX (21+), leveraging tools such as SQL Developer and Quest Toad, and building dynamic, responsive web interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, and CSS.
This role is 100% onsite, Monday-Friday, in the Washington, DC metro area.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop dynamic APEX reports and support Oracle Database 11+ features.
Create and maintain database objects (tables, indexes, triggers, sequences, etc.).
Work with PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting.
Manage and manipulate unstructured data (BLOB, CLOB, JSON, XMLType).
Integrate BI Publisher templates and web services.
Migrate Oracle Forms applications to modern, secure APEX applications.
Develop APIs and external system integrations.
Deliver workflow-centric enterprise applications and create automation logic.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of experience, master's with 10-13 years, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Strong experience with secure Oracle development, HTTPS callouts, and security certificates.
Proficiency in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, JavaScript, SQL Developer, Toad, and scripting tools.
