Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world You will serve as a Principal Security Specialist; you will serve as the primary point of contact and advisor to program personnel. Acting as the security authority, you will provide strategic and tactical oversight of program security operations while ensuring full compliance with U.S. Government and Department of Defense (DoD) security requirements. You will be the face of Industrial Security for assigned programs, directly interfacing with program personnel daily to align security objectives with mission success. This position reports directly to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and functionally aligns to the Raytheon GSS Industrial Security Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and has demonstrated expertise in industrial. You must have a demonstrated ability to analyze complex requirements, provide practical compliance solutions, and influence cross-functional teams. What You Will Do * Ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), DD Form 254 contract security requirements, and related directives across multiple programs. * Manages both internal Raytheon and customer-based security inspections, audits, and self-assessments.
* Oversight of all physical security reviews of secure areas to ensure compliance with all
* government requirements.
* Develop, maintain, and review security documentation to include Standard Practices and Procedures in support of DoD classified operations.
* Lead document control functions as they relate to media control, accountability, classification marking, storage, and outgoing/incoming classified shipments.
* Focal point for the Security Awareness Training and Education program with development, implementation of security related training and events to external employee base.
* Manage the Visitor Management System through use of internal Raytheon databases along with the processing of visits within the Defense Industrial Security System.
* Perform duties as the Top-Secret Control Officer with oversight of all Top-Secret material stored on site.
* Direct COMSEC accountability, safeguarding, and processing of material. Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
* Respond to alarm activations, investigate to ascertain status of area, and work to ensure area remains in compliance by identifying and root cause(s) and working with all involved parties for resolution.
* Collaborate with and assist the ISSO/ISSM on implementation of information assurance requirements and approved sanitization procedures for hardware and test equipment. * Other duties may be added as needed to support program execution. Qualifications You Must Have * Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
* 5 years' experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, security management, military, or government information security programs
* Experience implementing 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM). Qualifications We Prefer * Completed related training and/or certification with CDSE courses with emphasis on the FSO core curriculum courses to support DoD
* Experience leading investigations of security incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to mitigate future risk. * Previous experience supporting a COMSEC account and execution of the account.
