Reporting to the IT Supervisor, you will be part of the Information Technology Department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a certified IT professional, supporting a long-term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.
Assist with daily IT tasks, including troubleshooting and system maintenance.
Support the implementation, monitoring and optimization of IT infrastructure and applications.
Participate in IT projects, upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
Support the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
Support end-users with day to day hardware and application needs.
Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts.
Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption.
Learn to use IT management related software and tools.
Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator and team player.

Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Your Work Schedule:
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office or Kirkland Lake Office.
You must be willing to work on a rotational schedule at a remote mine site.
