SUMMARY
As a member of our Clinical Trials Study Management team, the Research Associate supports all actions and tasks related to clinical trials study set up & live study validation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Use of CTMS functionality for recording data cleaning-related action items (AI) comments and specimen related action items
All aspects of data cleaning (to include action items/CTAs) including Site contact, escalation to Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or ACM Project Manager (PM) according to the appropriate Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), resolution and sample release from the CTMS system and filing of associated documentation
Re-issue of reports following request from sites or Sponsors and following data cleaning activities, necessitating the re-issue of lab reports.
Perform clerical functions as directed by the Director of Study Management and filing of documentation and request forms as needed
Actively participates and assists with implementation of ACM services to ensure profitability and continued growth of the organization
Comply with policies for the safe, secure and confidential processing and storage of patient and other laboratory information Improve job knowledge by in-house, outside work, self-study, and on-line training in addition to industry functions, certifications, publications, and other available training resources
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in life science fields of Bio-chemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Bio-technology or 6 months experience in central laboratory or clinical trials experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Computer proficiency
Familiarity with relational databases and reporting tool
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
Customer Service experience required
Critical thinking and ability to problem-solve
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
