Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a day shift surgery position requiring an active OH or compact license and at least 3 years of recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the general Operating Room of a hospital setting

Full-time day shift options: 7a-7:30p, four 10-hour shifts (7a-5:30p), or five 8-hour days, as determined during the interview

Rotating on-call schedule includes both weekday and weekend call assignments that mirror staff rotation

Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday occurs during the contract period

Patient caseload may include robotic, neuro, and orthopedic cases

Uses Epic EMR, and experience is recommended

Responsibilities include circulating in the OR for various surgical procedures

Call assignments are shared with the general staff based on current census and staffing

Flexibility in schedule and call rotation is necessary due to potential fluctuations in staffing or patient volume

Possible holiday call duties required during the contract period

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required

Minimum of 3 years of current or recent Operating Room experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Robotic, neuro, and orthopedic OR experience recommended

Epic charting experience recommended
