Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring CVICU experience and a current KY or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in the Cardiovascular ICU of a hospital setting

Patient ratio is 1:2

Care for cardiovascular patients including fresh heart cases

Shifts are 19:30-07:30 on a 36/48 hour weekly rotation

Utilizes Meditech EMR

Orientation is provided bi-weekly

First time travelers not specified; travel pairs are not allowed

Copy of driver's license required

No local candidates will be considered

Holiday and weekend shifts may be required

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license required

Minimum of 2 years recent CVICU experience

Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale

Must have experience caring for fresh post-op heart patients

Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
